Creative music! Listening to fun music can help influence certain aspects of your piece of art.
When you feel the music you then can paint or draw exactly how the music feels. If the music is sad and depressing you probably would paint with a lot of blues and blacks and the picture would probably be more dark.
If the music is happy there would be a lot more bright colors and the mood of the painting would be more uplifting.
You can even tell by paint strokes if a painting was painted out of anger or happiness. The strokes would be a lot more soft and gentle and precise if the painter was happy, but if it was out of anger the painting would probably have more sudden or choppy strokes.
However art is suppose to be your interpretation of the world around you or the world you see in your head. There is no right or wrong way and there is no guidelines, so you could have a really angry painting but the person did tiny nice strokes.
I’m going to show some examples of angry and happy paintings:
this is an an angry painting with more choppy sudden strokes.
This painting is more happy with smooth and colorful strokes
this is a more disturbed painting with smooth strokes but darker image and colors
this is a more happy photo with rough sudden strokes
and this is a happy and dark painting at the same time
so there are no rules to art,but you can usually tell a mood of a painting and music can help influence the mood. I’ll be posting some different kinds of music to help influence the mood of your painting tomorrow 🙂
